The process

How it works

Everything happens online. You’ll know the price and the steps before anything begins.

Track 1 / Personal tax

Personal tax returns

  1. 1

    A short conversation

Call or email us with your situation. We'll explain what's involved and give you the price upfront. Nothing starts until you're comfortable.

  2. 2

    Secure intake

We send you a secure intake link. You fill it out and reply to our email with your documents, from your phone, on your own time. No appointment needed.

  3. 3

    We prepare your return

Most returns are ready within one to two business days. During peak season this can vary, so if you have a deadline, tell us and we'll prioritize it.

  4. 4

    Review and questions

We complete the work and send your invoice. Once settled, we walk you through the return together: what changed, why your result is what it is, and anything you want to ask.

  5. 5

    Sign and file

You e-sign the authorization form (T183 for CRA, TP-1000.TE for Quebec), we file, and you receive a final copy for your records.

Track 2 / Business & corporate

Business and corporate clients

  1. 1

    A proper planning call

Business work is bigger, so we start with a real conversation. We map out your filing obligations, timelines, and pricing before anything begins.

  2. 2

    Setup

We get your accounts and filings organized: CRA program accounts, GST/HST and PST registration, payroll, and WorkSafeBC as needed.

  3. 3

    Through the year

We handle what comes up as it comes up: payroll remittances, GST/HST and PST filings, WorkSafeBC premiums, and T-slips at year-end. Questions along the way are part of the service, not an extra charge.

  4. 4

    Year-end and corporate return

We prepare your year-end and corporate return (T2) within your filing deadlines. Invoicing is settled before filing, exactly as quoted.

  5. 5

    Review, sign, file

We go through the results with you, you e-sign, and we file. You get final copies for your records.

No office. No waiting room. No day off work.

Everything happens online, on your schedule.

Pricing

What it costs

Personal returns start at $45.

The final price depends on your situation: self-employment, rental income, or multiple provinces add work.

Business and corporate pricing depends on scope:

filing requirements, payroll frequency, and how much bookkeeping is involved. We quote after an initial call, so you get a real number rather than a range.

You always get the price before work begins.

We invoice once the work is complete, then review, sign, and file.

Questions are free.

If we've done work for you, asking a question doesn't start a billing clock.

Reassurance

Good to know

We work with clients across Canada.

We're based in Delta, BC, but the process is fully online, so your location doesn't change how we work together.

Missed years are fixable.

We file prior-year and late returns, whether you've missed one year or several.

We can help with CRA letters, even for returns we didn't file.

Review letters, reassessments, repayment notices, and document requests.

CRA account setup is a separate paid service.

If you’d rather do it yourself, our Tax Guide has free step-by-step instructions.

You can reach us outside business hours.

Regular hours are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM daily. During tax season you can contact us any time, and we often reply evenings and late nights. We aim to respond within 72 hours.

In-person meetings are available on request.

Most clients never need one, but we'll arrange it by appointment if you'd prefer.

Your information stays confidential.
